Interactive table 101 - sort and filter data
The interactive tables in Sloc Local allow for exploring, editing, and filtering site-level data before running your analysis.
Sorting data
When preparing your site data for analysis, you can sort rows in any column by clicking on the column header in the built in interactive table. The example below shows sorting based on the retailer column.
First click = ascending order

Second click = descending order

Third click = reset to default

Applying filters
To filter a column:
Hover over the column header
Click the three-line filter icon that appears
Choose from available filter options (e.g. equals, contains, range, etc.)
For example, to filter for only small sites:
Hover over the Store size column

Click the filter icon

Select “Equals” or “contains” → Small

Top filtering tips:
Numeric and text fields have different filtering options aligned to their data type.
You can apply multiple filters to a single column and across different columns.
Conditional filters can AND (all conditions must be true) or OR (at least one condition must be true).
